Dear Friends of Image City Photography Gallery, Note that First Friday Gallery Night is on June 4 from 6 to 9pm.
We are pleased to announce our new exhibit. Photography -- Through Women's Eyes, presenting the work of 21 noted photographers: Sue Alden, Michelle KV Chasser, Lori Farr, Bonnie Gamache, Nan Guzauski, Christine Heusner, Lynda Howland, Kitty Hubbard, Susan Kaye, Margaret Keller, Chris Kogut, Susan Larkin, Kate Lipsky, Joan Lyons, Sheila Nelson, Betsy Phillips, Patti Russotti, Wendy Sacks, Phyllis Thompson, Lois Trieb, and Monika Ueffinger. Photography -- Through Women's Eyes is sponsored by jill-e Designs, who have complete lines of sturdy, stylish bags for photographers, business and leisure travelers, busy mothers, and scrapbookers. A second sponsor is Archival Methods, the place to go to find archival storage materials for your photographs and ephemera. Supporters of the show are the Rochester Women's Network, American Association of University Women, and The Women's Foundation of Genesee Valley.
The exhibit opens on May 19 and the Artists' Reception will be on two days: Friday, May 21 from 5 to 8:30pm and Saturday May 22, 3 - 6pm. The receptions ares a great opportunity to view the work, to chat with the photographers, and to invest in their fine photographs. There is NO admission fee to visit Image City Photography Gallery.
